The table weighs 10 pounds but has a weight capacity of 100 pounds, which is enough for dining purposes. However, you should not test the maximum capacity. If you’re using the table for grilling purposes, don’t use it to hold paraphernalia exceeding about 25 pounds. This is especially true if the legs have been extended; the more you extend, the less pressure you should apply. I did test the 100 pound capacity by placing a bunch of items on top of it; grills, toasters, etc, and it almost collapsed on me. Putting this table together is also pretty simple. I didn’t even need any instructions because it was self-evident. You just unfold the frame, snap the support bars close to the frame, and then snap the tabletop in place. If you need any help, the instructions are conveniently printed inside the mesh carrying bag.
One of my biggest concerns with this table is its limited height. The leg height cannot be adjusted and is fixed at about 15 inches, so you’ll need some pretty low chairs to sit on this table. If you have kids, you should be careful as they might try to sit on it. The table is durable enough to handle an individual’s weight, but you shouldn’t tempt its joints.
One of the smartest features of this table is the mesh pocket installed on either side of the table. This table is extremely lightweight so that’s great for portability. However, you might be concerned that the light weight will make it susceptible to winds. That’s where the mesh side pockets come in. If you find that it’s getting windy, you can simply load up the pockets with rocks to increase the table’s weight and ensure that it stays in place.

The side tables also come equipped with additional accessories and features like glass holders, trash bag holders, hooks, and various other insets for kitchen utensils. The countertop is also heat-resistant so you can place your burners and grills on it.
I am a little disappointed by the side tables. They are plastic and lightweight, but come with a range of issues. For one, they are pretty slippery and you have to be extremely careful with them, a single swipe of the hand might send your items flying. They could have remedied this by adding a rubber surface. I would also advise against placing heavy objects on the side trays since they are relatively delicate. Furthermore, if you place something on one side tray, you should also place something on the other side to counteract the weight of the entire table.

Some of the ways it can be configured are: a square table, an extended buffet table, a bi-level table, or it can also be disconnected and converted into to 2 separate tables. The height is also adjustable to 3 different levels and the legs are made of durable aluminum.
When unfolded, each of the tables measures 31.5” x 15.5”, with the height adjustable between 14.5”, 27.5”, and 31.5”. However, you can fold it down to 24” x 3” x 16”. The entire rig only weighs 12 pounds yet has a weight capacity of 300 pounds, making it one of the strongest and most versatile folding camping tables available on the market.
Because of its ultimate customizability, it’s ideal for those who have multiple uses for their tables. When using it inside an RV, you can use a single side of the table while storing the other. If you’re using it while camping, you can either use it as a square table to seat multiple individuals or turn it into a long buffet table to set out a delectable assortment of dishes. This table is also ideal for cooking and holding burners and grills due to its high weight capacity, durability, and the natural heat-resistance of aluminum.
The Coleman Pack-Away is also fairly easy to take apart and put together, it can be done within a minute. There is no need for any tools to assemble and a single individual can handle it. Once folded, you can carry it using the attached handle. The legs are stored under the lip of the table so they are neatly tucked away out of sight.
My biggest problem with this table however, is its lack of stability in the face of wind. Unless it is weighted down by a number of paraphernalia, even a modernly heavy breeze can make it sway and render it unstable. That is a side-effect of its lightweight nature, so I won’t harp on that too much. However, if you feel it getting windy outside, you would do well to pack it up. Furthermore, you should also note that the higher you set it, the less stable it becomes. If you’re using it as a low-lying coffee table, you have nothing to worry about. But if you’ve extended the legs all the way up, it’s best to offer it some support against a wall or a tree or something sturdy.

In addition to the extremely compact folded size, it weighs in at only 1.3 pounds. If you’re going to hike in to your camp spot and need to walk long distances, then this table is ideal for you. It’s available with two countertop options — mesh top or hard top.
The nylon fabric is stretched taut via aluminum supports and bars. Nylon is a great material to use as a countertop as it’s extremely easy to clean up after and it can withstand spills and rain without staining or spoiling. However, you cannot use this table in front of campfires because the slightest of embers will burn right through the surface.
At 14 inches, this is a low-lying table. However, with the low height comes durability and no need to worry about the table swaying even if it’s windy out. Having said that, it’s not advisable to use it for cooking purposes or place any grills or burners on it. If you intend to cut veggies, meats, etc., you should get the hard top version. The mesh version is only suitable for eating on, keeping objects, etc.
This folding table comes with a small carrying case so you can easily fold the table into the bag and carry it wherever you want. It has an official weight capacity of 110 pounds, but I wouldn’t advise putting that much weight on it as the legs might buckle. This is certainly not as strong as the other tables on this list, but that’s natural considering how lightweight it is.
All things considered, this table doesn’t really have any major design flaws that aren’t the by-product of its other qualities. For example, the lightweight design naturally makes it less stable during winds. The nylon material is naturally not fire-resistant. The only real issue I have with this table is that it’s too expensive for what it offers. If you want a top-of-the-line folding camping table, this is great. But there are cheaper options available.

The weight capacity might not seem like a lot compared to other similar products, but it’s accurate. I tested the weight capacity and they haven’t exaggerated its capacity at all.

This table is also as easy to clean, is water-resistant, and fire resistant. So if you’re intention is to use a table around the campfire, then this is the ideal choice for you.
The Trekology has a nice neutral bronze/brown color and is made of an aero-space grade aluminum alloy, so there is no worry about the color fading over time like other other aluminum tables. Folding and unfolding the table is a breeze and can be done in just a few seconds. After folding, the table easily sides into it’s carrying bag. It does not however, come with a shoulder strap for ease of carrying, so I am forced to carry it by the handles, instead of slinging it across my backhand freeing up my hands for other items.
The legs on this table are fixed so it should used on even ground and is not suitable for uneven surfaces. Owing to the light weight profile, this table cannot withstand high winds. However, if you weigh it down with objects, you shouldn’t have any problem.

The ALPS is made of heavy-duty aluminum so it is extremely durable, can be used for cooking since it’s heat-resistant, and it is lightweight. The top is comprised of a series of aluminum slats that can be folded, legs can be disconnected and folded as well. The top and the legs are folded separately and later connected.
The biggest concern I have is that the aluminum slats are held together by a bungee cord. That’s not extremely durable and it might lose its elasticity over the years. While my bungee cords are still working well, I have heard from several users that their bungee caved in within a year, rendering the table useless.
Another issue is the folded size of the legs. When folded, the legs and aluminum slats are of different lengths and cannot be packed into the same carrying bag. You have to essentially stuff the slats into the bag and carry the legs separately. This can be quite an inconvenience, so it would have been preferable for the manufacturer to design a bag big enough for both, and for the legs and slats to be of uniform folded length.
